MUSIC
Aria’s music is rooted in rich, live instrumentation and close collaboration with some of the UK’s most respected jazz musicians. Her latest single, It’s All Your Fault, named Jazz FM’s Track of the Week and championed on BBC Radio 2, was co-written with Sarah Gillespie and Ian Barter (Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith), and co-produced by James Pearson (Van Morrison, Jeff Beck) and Polly Gibbons. The recording features Tony Remy (guitar), Loz Garrett (bass), Dan Hester (drums), alongside layered backing vocals by Zi&Si that bring depth and warmth to her sound.
Her debut release, Rectify Your Soul, introduced a distinctive blend of classic soul and contemporary influences. Recorded at Eastcote Studios, the project was captured entirely live with the full ensemble performing together in real time, preserving the energy, interplay, and spontaneity of a true live session, and refined by world-class engineering & mastering from grammy award winning George Murphy and Andrew Tulloch to balance musicality with modern production.
Her upcoming debut album continues this collaborative approach, featuring contributions from acclaimed musicians including Trish Clowes, Poppy Daniels, and Chris Montague is also recorded entirely live, further shaping a sound that is both timeless and forward-looking.
With a strong emphasis on collaboration and musicianship, Aria is developing a sound that is both timeless and current as she builds toward her debut album, launching in September 2026 at Pizza Express Live Soho.
