Aria’s music is rooted in rich, live instrumentation and close collaboration with some of the UK’s most respected jazz musicians. Her single It’s All Your Fault, named Jazz FM’s Track of the Week and championed on BBC Radio 2, was co-written with Sarah Gillespie and Ian Barter (Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith), and co-produced by James Pearson (Van Morrison, Jeff Beck) and Polly Gibbons. The recording features Tony Remy on guitar, Loz Garrett on bass, Dan Hester on drums, alongside layered backing vocals by Zi&Si.

Her debut album, Rectify, is out now. Recorded at Eastcote Studios, the album was captured largely live with the ensemble performing together in real time, preserving the energy, interplay and spontaneity at the heart of Aria’s sound. The project features contributions from acclaimed musicians including Chris Montague, Poppy Daniels and Trish Clowes, with engineering and mastering by Grammy Award-winning George Murphy and Andrew Tulloch.

The album was launched on 21 September 2026 at a sold-out Pizza Express Live Soho, marking a return to the first London jazz club where Aria performed. The show brought together a ten-piece band for a set spanning neo-soul, jazz, R&B and classic influences, with UK Jazz News praising Aria’s “soulful vocals” and the band’s tight, accomplished arrangements.

Rectify brings together Aria’s love of soul, jazz, genre-fluidly and live performance in a sound that feels both timeless and contemporary.
