Aria is a London-based singer-songwriter emerging as a distinctive new voice in the UK scene, bringing together neo-soul, jazz and contemporary songwriting with a strong emphasis on live musicianship.

Her journey started at release of her debut single, Rectify Your Soul. Which received airplay on BBC Radio 6, BBC Introducing and remained on the Jazz FM playlist for five consecutive weeks, including a feature as Track of the Week. Jazz FM’s Simon Phillips described her as “a future classic, a young lady on the verge of a huge breakthrough.”Her follow up single It’s All Your Fault was also named Jazz FM’s Track of the Week and received strong support from BBC Radio 2 and BBC London, where Aria was invited on air to discuss her music and journey as an artist.

Aria has performed her original music at many of the UK’s leading jazz venues, including Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express Live Dean Street, The 606 Club and a sold-out show at Crazy Coqs as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival. In May 2025, she performed at the launch of She Writes Songs at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, sharing the stage with Sarah Gillespie, Rumer, Sarah Jane Morris, Polly Gibbons, Jo Harrop and Shaznay Lewis (All Saints).

Following her performance on the Free Stage at Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2025, UK Jazz News described Aria as “an enticing talent” and “one to watch.” This year she was subsequently selected for the festival’s Arena Showcase, opening for Nectar Woode in the 900-capacity DEYA Arena. Festival Director Ian George described her as:

“A true one to watch. Aria is a rising star in UK Soul. She has wowed audiences across Cheltenham Jazz Festival stages, including a standout opening set for Nectar Woode.”

Aria’s debut album, Rectify, is out now. Built around close collaboration with some of the UK’s most respected jazz musicians, the album reflects her commitment to live performance, expressive songwriting and the spontaneity of musicians creating together.

Rectify was launched on 21 September 2026 at a sold-out Pizza Express Live Dean Street, bringing Aria back to the first London jazz club where she performed. Accompanied by a powerhouse ten-piece band, she presented a set spanning neo-soul, jazz and R&B, with UK Jazz News praising her “soulful vocals” and the strength of the ensemble.

With a voice that is both intimate and commanding, and an approach shaped by collaboration, musicianship and personal songwriting, Aria is establishing herself as one of the UK’s most compelling emerging soul artists.
